Truthful Logo

This happens to me WAY too often when I'm out and about and using the camera or video. At the link below, there is also a logo for Apple and Windows phones. The Apple one deals with a cracked screen and applies pretty equally to Android in my unfortunate experience with breaking my phones.

haha nice. though apple as a whole is understandable, but not android. I mean, not all android phones have bad batteries, look at G2

  2. Adam Tyler says:

I suffer from low-battery anxiety. While my current Galaxy S5 usually holds its own, I start twitching when the gauge slips below 70%. This particular episode of XKCD (see link below) speaks to me.

  3. Scott Cramer says:

    +Adam Tyler 😀

  4. David Barron says:

I've taken to carrying a back up battery pack with me now, my phones battery is getting decrepit.

  5. Gord Smyth says:

I have had my S3 now for over a year with the original battery and have yet to have a day that it doesn't last.  And yes, I am using it all the time, every day.  I guess maybe I got lucky and managed to have one built on a Monday and not a Friday.  😉

  6. Eddie Yasi says:

My HTC One M8 is fantastic for NOT having this problem. What a relief!

  7. Norman Dethan says:

Well people said N5 does that. But mine never gets one *flies away

  8. Gareth Owen says:

My Note 3 has a huge battery! 😀

  9. Jacob Hill says:

+Norman Dethan flies away, like a 9Gag captain? Hello, Captain!

  10. Patty Rose says:

Stamina mode shuts off a bunch of batt draining stuffs when the screen is asleep. The only way one charge lasts me a day.

  11. nick martin says:

    User error nothing more…

  12. Thomas Jones says:

My MotoX is pretty good on battery life – far better than my Charge was (though, at least it was quite accurately named).

  13. Scott Webb says:

My Droid maxx laughs at this post

  14. Christy Pemberton says:

My s3 sucks on battery life!! This is why I am sooo glad I have a power skin and I can charge if needed to and no outlet is around! =)

  15. Basil Doeringsfeld says:

One of my fav Galaxy / Android features is the removable battery, take advantage of it! For $27 you can get two spares, and a wall charger ? http://goo.gl/4xqO8W I always have an extra full battery with me when I know I'm going to be doing a lot of GPSing, Photoing or Videoing.

  16. James Lamb says:

I bought my first Android phone used. When it started sucking down the juice, I thought the battery had gone bad and bought a new battery.  Turns out it was an app – got rid of the app and it was fine. But it was still nice having a spare battery for those occasions of heavy use (which occurred fairly frequently).   My new phone (a cheapie Samsung) is ok, but not great, and there have been a few occasions when I wished I had a spare battery (or I've seen quite a few "back-up" power packs or small speaker sets with a battery that can also be used to recharge the phone).

  17. Scott Cramer says:

The trend toward self contained units where neither the battery or storage can be removed is disturbing. I have the LG G2 currently, and before that the Nexus 4; neither with anything removable.

  18. Eddie Yasi says:

Being a bit of a gadget junkie I can have colds that last longer than the amount of time I keep a phone before replacing it, so replaceable batteries don't matter to me.

But, I do appreciate microsd storage for having a library of music to listen to when out of cell range, which, as a T-Mobile customer does happen a bit more frequently.  🙂

  19. Scott Cramer says:

Where I live, T-Mobile barely services my house, let alone the surrounding area. I'm not sure why anyone here would visit their store.

  20. Patty Rose says:

+Scott Cramer my dad has a phone where he can't get service at home (without getting LD/roaming charges at least). I don't get why he doesn't switch, he never uses it at home though.

  21. Eddie Yasi says:

Fortunately their signal is great at home & work for me, it's just when I travel off the major highways in the area I'm at risk.
