I'd give the odds to the bad guys. :p post-ROTJ Palpatine was bending the space-time continuum to his will and was also basically undying. :p
That being said, Star Wars: Avengers is a thing that needs to happen.
+Charles Gaines Maybe if we threw in Dr. Strange……..? Still, thinking it would be tough to beat Palpatine at that level.
FWIW, they did trap him in a dying Jedi's body in the end of that series. So yeah that worked. :p
Also Luke managed to outduel him-it's sort of funny; that duel lasts about three panels, or about as long as Mace Windu's incompetent friends lasted about Palpatine in Episode 3. :p
I would like to see Hulk regenerate from having his head chopped off by a lightsaber.
