A few days ago, I revealed that, for the first time a fellow G-plusser had jumped from the virtual and into my dreams. (http://goo.gl/ZHkAH). Cue flashback music…
I was in my office typing on the laptop. My Daughter was there too, just outside the door. I could not see her, but I could hear her talking to someone. Suddenly, I was standing, ready to walk out of my door. I was holding a six-shot Nerf blaster gun, looking very Hollywood ready to spring out of my doorway. I somehow knew that Daughter was leading someone to where the Nerf Vulcan automatic rifle was hidden (25 round self-feeding magazine firing 3 shots per second). I fired a cover shot as I jumped through into the outer office area, but Daughter and company had disappeared into the server room. I hugged the wall as I slid up to the entrance and peered inside, but I could not see them. I fired a round into the room, only four shots left now. If they got the Vulcan loaded and hot, I stood no chance. If it was going down, it was going down on my terms. I jumped into the room, sticking the landing perfectly, gun aimed toward the only hiding place. There under the server desk crouched daughter and beside her, loaded Nerf Vulcan pointed at me in a Mexican standoff, was…
+Yoon-Mi Kim!
I could see in her cold, dark eyes that she was looking to stick several suction cupped darts to my glasses; there was no air of possible diplomacy or negotiation. As triggers on both sides were pressed… I woke up.
