We start so many journeys carefully; considering each step and how to place our feet to keep from falling or getting dirty or wet or going off the beaten path. Sometimes the right path for us is over the bridge and sometimes it is through the woods. Sometimes dry on top of the rocks in the stream and sometimes soaking wet through the current. Start your journies with reckless abandon. Your paths will appear. They may also change. That's ok; it's part of the journey. ?
This pic is daughter contemplating the crossing of a small stream. At the start of the hike, she went carefully from stone to stone crossing dryly; by hike's end she was wading through ankle deep. I love the tall aspect ratio of the shot because it gives a better sense of the amazing landscape around us. Truly beautiful.
