Remember being a kid and standing out in a flurry of snow with your toungue out, feeling the cold flakes touch and instantly melt in your mouth? As adults we see the snow coming down and dread things like shoveling, clearing off the car, and driving to work on slippery roads. I'm not saying those things aren't going to happen, but maybe they'd be just a little less onerous if we walked out into the storm with mouths open and toungues out to taste a bit of childhood nostalgia before adulting for the day.
