Immigration Reform — One Changed Opinion at a Time
Morgan Spurlock has an episode of his "30 Days" series that goes right along with this article. It's been a while, but as I remember it, a hardcore border patrol advocate spends 30 days with illegal aliens on this side of the border and with their family on the Mexican side. It's very powerful to watch how it affects him. Sad to see how little progress we make on this issue over the years.

Hungry people, friends getting killed, and no real sense that what we were doing was doing any good. "What are we doing here? Why am I chasing these people?", I'd ask myself.
