Customer sues AT&T for throttling and wins

Have an unlimited data plan but are getting throttled ?

This customer sued and won $850 plus court costs. Had an unlimited plan but was throttled on AT&T's network.

AT&T offered a settlement but he refused. AT&T chose not to appeal. I suspect they don't want the publicity. That's where we come in. 🙂 Let's spread the word.

How We Learn

This is a full recreation of the Battle of Hoth done in Lego. The guy who did this wasn't a pro. In fact, if you read all the YouTube liner notes, he's learning as he's going along. It's totally wild to realize just how much he learned to make this happen.

Do you learn better by creating a project and realizing its completion? Or do you learn better by reading a book and hoping some day to do the things you read about?

Cramer Brothers Star Wars Costume Contest – Update
A week ago I announced the Star Wars Costume Contest between +Scott Cramer and +Keith Cramer (goo.gl/GEXV3). To sum up, the Cramer brothers have to make a Star Wars costume each, which has to be better than the costumes in the photo below. The loser of the two, or both if none of their costumes are better than the costumes in the photo, have to wear a Slave Leia costume in a public Google+ hangout.

In the week past since the announcement of the contest not a whole damn lot of important stuff has happened, but +Scott Cramer asked begged me to write an update post so now I'll try to sum up the development in relation to the contest in the last week. Disclaimer: I'm not sober (at all).

All the Random Stuff
– +Keith Cramer accepted that he didn't have a say in the matter and joined the contest.

– +Keith Cramer tried to figure out if any Star Wars character was invisible, because he apparently thought it was easier to make himself invisible than to make a costume.

– +Scott Cramer said he was stoked about the contest, when in reality he is a little scared sissy.

– +Keith Cramer thought he actually had some dignity left he could lose by wearing a Slave Leia costume in a public hangout.

– +Mz Maau suggested additional punishment for the loser(s), which I rejected because I thought the punishment was cruel enough already (my mistake).

– A lot of people begged to become part of the secret jury; everyone rejected due to accepting public requests would go against the whole purpose of a secret jury.

– To his big surprise, +Scott Cramer realized that he isn't a dwarf.

– +Keith Cramer began preparing for the psychological trauma losing this contest will cause.

– +Mz Maau reminded +Scott Cramer and +Keith Cramer to "be epic" more times than most people can count to.

– +Claudio Ibarra suggested that making a Darth Vader costume and riding a unicycle while wearing it, would be the easy route.

– I admitted that I feel "delightfully evil" about orchestrated this whole thing, and dropped an Evil Laughter or two while taunting the Cramer brothers.

– +Aldric Newberry was crying in a corner because he wasn't part of this contest, but made a joke about not being included to seem cool.

– +Keith Cramer threw a baby kitten into a tank of ugly flesh-eating cows. Wait; what? Perhaps it was a piranha tank.

– +Scott Cramer heard that someone saying "ugly cow" and thought they were talking about him.

– +Halfdan Reschat didn't want to make decisions, so he just said "that's up to you" a lot.

– +Scott Cramer said something about +Keith Cramer being in a trash can.

– +Scott Cramer went all blasphemous and called Chewbacca a "walking carpet." (Nobody has forgiven you for that yet.)

– +Catherine Maguire and +Basil Doeringsfeld joined forces, trying to get +Scott Cramer and +Keith Cramer committed to a mental institution.

– +Ron Shearer said "bacon" and "coffee" a good many times.

– +Keith Cramer made a birthday wish to never be required to dressed as a princess again, while secretly wishing the wish didn't come true.

– +Scott Cramer stated that he feels this contest is beginning to resemble a murder trail quite a lot.

– +Keith Cramer admitted that if he could, he would bribe the judges (through one of his minions).

What You Wanted to Know
– +Scott Cramer announced that he has chosen to make a C-3PO costume.

– +Keith Cramer strongly hinted that he has chosen to make a R2D2 costume. He also made a statement which makes everyone hope that he doesn't have a fetish requiring large silver bowls.

– The Cramer brothers decided on a budget of $40.

– I decided that it is okay for the brothers to steal and get donations.

– +Keith Cramer realized that the Contest Overlord is very alert.
