+Kari Tedrick called this to my attention. I can not even imagine running out of my home in the middle of the night with nothing but my briefs and watching as everything I own and all but one of my pets is burned to ash.
Thank goodness that all human lives were saved, but they have no insurance coming and have, quite literally, nothing. If you can do even a little, it would be greatly appreciated.

Family of Five Loses Everything in Late Night FireAfter breaking down the bedroom door, she found her 12 yrd old asleep in his bed with the dresser next to him engulfed in flames.
No time to grab anything, no time to find the beloved pets, they made their way outside with barely a minute to spare.
Stacy is one of the kindest, warm-hearted women I know. She's never been on the recieving end and is not sure how to handle it. Her giving nature is bucking the process of asking for help, but I assure you, she needs it.
Fortunately, through the generosity of another, they have a furnished place to live, so the burden of finding beds, and sofas and such has been lifted.
Someone just gave her some towels, and they did salvage some pans from the fire. But really, that is all they have now. Some bath towels and some pots and pans.
Stacy is working on an Amazon Wish List and will be adding to it each day.

This is so true. What's awful, is that I find myself allowing repetitive tasks for users that I manage go on for a long time. As soon as I have to cover for them or sit down to troubleshoot what they are doing, THEN I want to automate the task so I don't have to deal with it. It's definitely a case where squeaky wheels win in my world. 😉

If you are not following +Eduardo Rodriguez Calzado, you should check him out. I love his paintings, but not only that, he posts updates from inception to final piece of art. This post of his is from a few days back so I imagine final updates are coming soon.
Also, on June 7th, he has a show coming up in San Antonio, Texas. Economy willing, I'd love to make it out there. It would be even better to see some of you peeps at the same time. 🙂
