This is potentially toxic and likely harmful for fish over their life (please don't do that) but great if it's just a terrarium for show.
There are fish safe options though.
Agreed; this was hopefully staged just for the picture. Either that or it needs coated to stop chemicals from leaching into the water.
+Scott Cramer LEGO to the rescue! If he replaces this with an X-Wing made of LEGO bricks with no decals under the water line, it will have no paint and won't leach chemicals into water.
After extensive research (10 minutes) it seems that Lego is the way to go, though there are sealants that you can get to make most plastics safe.
