Very small minded opinion +joshua openshaw. Is it just because someone else's passion differs from yours? Or, is it a knee-jerk reaction to anything that might be considered "geeky" or "child-like"? This particular collection was amassed over a period of 30 years and the auction was set up to benefit Rancho Obi-Wan, which is a non-profit museum that’s dedicated to collecting Star Wars-related memorabilia. There is no argument that Star Wars has not impacted generations over the entire planet and become a part of culture, whether you like the franchise or not.
