  4. Kimberly Chapman says:

Shared with indie tags added so hopefully that gets some attention.  Awesome thing you're doing there, +Scott Cramer!

Although once again I'm going to brace for incoming glompery later when +Mar Mai sees it and you should do likewise…

  5. Chris Mallory says:

  9. Scott Cramer says:

    +Mellie B You don't already have a copy?!

  10. Mellie B says:

No :S It's on my "Hope it comes to Kobo" list. There's always conversion, or a kindle app, right?

  11. Scott Cramer says:

You can read it in the "Cloud Reader" from Amazon on your computer. That's what I did! 😉

  12. Scott Cramer says:

Can't find your list… Sad face.

  13. Charlie Hoover says:

    Calibre is awesome for that…

  14. Scott Cramer says:

    What +Charlie Hoover said. 🙂

  15. Mellie B says:

    that too.
So am I on the naughty or the nice list? 😀

  16. Scott Cramer says:

I refuse to answer on the grounds that it will incinerate me.

  17. Charlie Hoover says:

    Nicely naughty?

  18. Mellie B says:

    LOL

    sent you my list, Santa

  19. Mellie B says:

    again, what Charlie said 😀

  20. Scott Cramer says:

Your copy is on the way +Mellie B. Apparently Amazon does not discriminate when it comes to Nice or Naughty. 😉

  21. Mellie B says:

    LOL!

    YAY!! thankyouthankyouthankyou

  22. Micha Fire says:

    oh — "The Dragon Tutor" — want — but don't have a list ………. 🙁

  23. Scott Cramer says:

+Micha Fire Easy peasey. Create list! Or PM me your e-mail! 🙂

  24. Micha Fire says:

+Scott Cramer send you a PM

  25. Scott Cramer says:

+Micha Fire Amazon should be sending you an e-mail any moment now! Happy Holidays and enjoy the book! 🙂

  26. Kimberly Chapman says:

+Mellie B Peo and I read it in my Kindle Cloud reader on my computer.

Of course the downside is now she wants to read it again and again and I'm hardly going to let her take my computer to the treehouse where she takes her paper Lilith Dark comics.

Which is why I'm solidly in the camp of "I will buy it again knowing that a print run will be expensive, and I will support a Kickstarter if needed" should +Mar Mai ever go the print route.

  27. Scott Cramer says:

+Kimberly Chapman I second the support on that.

  28. Kimberly Chapman says:

I think at this point +Mar Mai probably has at least a dozen people who will back such a project for sure.

Of course, I set my threshold for print at 25 people requesting and I haven't been able to get that, so I wouldn't blame her for holding off for awhile still….

  29. Micha Fire says:

+Scott Cramer Thank you!! I got it and I can finally read this awesome book from +Mar Mai and then give her a review

  30. Mar Mai says:

I'm scheduling an appointment with Createspace to see about getting The Dragon Tutor printed. So far I'm liking what I see…. I'm hoping they can print a decent graphic novel. Also… working on a back cover XD

+Kimberly Chapman I'm SO happy that Peo is enjoying it so much!! When I started on this project I had two hopes… that the story would be enjoyable and engaging for adults and kids…

And that Kids would love it enough to dream up adventures of their own!!

That is my way of forwarding the love I always received from reading comics and adventure stories as a kid. They got me through some difficult times and I've never forgotten the love of having a great adventure!

  31. Scott Cramer says:

Good luck on the printing! And, I think you hit the mark on the adult/kids aspect of the story. I hope the series has much longevity for you.

  32. Mar Mai says:

    Thank you +Scott Cramer!!
With friends like you all around me I have a good, awesome feeling about the future!! glomp!!!

  33. Chris Mallory says:

How cool! I would definitely buy a print copy. Actually I'd probably buy atleast two, with an extra for a friend.

  34. Micha Fire says:

+Mar Mai lulu.com does print and e-book too
compare the royalties – print prices are fairly cheap even for color pages

  35. Mar Mai says:

+Micha Fire that's awesome! Thank you! Does lulu often print on demand as well? Either way it's great to have options!! 😀

  36. Micha Fire says:

+Mar Mai I don't know – I haven't used it yet myself – but plan on doing so as they sell to / over Amazon too
what I don't like with the print version is that you HAVE to buy a book yourself first before it will go into full print at all

this takes a lot of time (6 – 8 weeks) before it's available – and I haven't found anything yet about how much you have to pay to have the data online for them. In my other print shop they it's 2€ per month……….
