She knows all about the Pokemon characters and cards but needs some experience picking just 60 of them for a well-rounded battle deck - which I'm sure is why she didn't do as well as she could have. So, yeah, I did enjoy myself. I wouldn't mind learning to play the game. You know, in all my spare time. ;-) If I go to another one, though, I'm taking something to do because it does get to be a long time sitting for a bystander! I have never been to one of those conventions. My sister had some wacky friends in high school who favored that lifestyle. Many were a bit off. It's harmless fun, but odd from an outsider's POV.
