To me… G+ is a giant cash grab booth. There are way more peeps and conversations than I can keep track of, though I desire to capture them all. Invariably I know I end up missing something as it flies by or I run out of time and have to walk away from riches as valuable as the ones I was able to catch. Standing in the middle of a hurricane of personalities and words, some I have been lucky enough to grab and keep them close. Others I see and recognize flying by me many times before I latch on. While I am looking one direction, I know that so much more is going on in all the spaces where I am not focusing. Like currency, I can pass along every person or conversation to others and let them share in the richness of the experiences that I found. Unlike the fleeting nature of money, what you walk away from G+ with you really can keep forever. Like the nature of money in that it is what you make of it, so is G+. I can invest what I capture and let a new conversation plant the seed of a new idea, or I can build an acquaintance with similar likes into a treasured friend. Not every dollar you spend goes to a precious commodity. Just like in real life where we spend a buck on a candy bar or a few more on a movie, there are posts and people we enjoy and then move on, and that's okay. We also get the occasional rotten apple, but in the case of G+, "money" really does grow on trees, or in my analogy flies around inside a booth. When you want more just step back in and see what comes your way.
I chose this particular video because of the variety of people from all walks they show in the booth. They all also have different strategies for how they grab the money, which I thought was kind of like how we all have different ways which we interact here on the plus.
Special thanks to all my friends and anyone I have had the pleasure of even exchanging just a few words. You are all appreciated. <3

I posted on interweb friendships in general, yesterday. In reality, most of what I said pertains heavily to G+, though.
I shall go and read that post haste! 🙂
I'll get on this later .) brilliant idea Scott
And there are actual conversations, not one-sentence quips dominating the e-waves. Overall, G+ seems to encourage all of us to be more wordy. And that makes for more substantive relationships with people we will never actually meet in real-life. Or may not.
Also…while I did post it limitedly, feel free to share if you so wish.
And, +Dirk Reul, I don't think +Scott Cramer has had a bad idea yet.
+Scott D I think +Kristi Fahlsing might disagree with that occasionally 😛
Yes… yes she would. I stunk up her entire house when she volunteered to let us do the Death of a Thousand Condiments in her basement. 😉
hehe, I mean.. oh dear. I am not going to go there.
We should wait until she pops up here 😛
By the way, wonderful piece by +Scott D if you enjoy well written and passionate words. It is posted limited so I do not know who can actually get to it, but he said I could post the link. Maybe he will repost public……. hint hint

Why, hello there +Kristi Fahlsing 🙂
Sorry Scott 😛
Haha +Scott D, I would have to agree with +Dirk Reul on the whole "occational bad idea"…well there was this one time…and um then there was this uh other time…
Why am I now waiting for "One time, in summer camp…" ?
Oh please, +Dirk Reul I was a baby when +Scott Cramer attended summer camps! whoops. Was that too much to tell?

Never went to camp. My parents just locked the door to the house. (jk!)
What, they forgot the restraints and the gag? 😛
