I almost voted

Ah, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Bro said they were still doing early voting so downtown we went to early vote. As we drove into the parking lot, a guy pulling out told us that they were turning people away. Bro said, "I bet he just saw your bumper sticker." We walked up to check anyway. It was 12:34 and we were told early voting ended at noon. I asked the woman turning people away, "What's the point?" Her answer, "It's the law. It's a statute." Oh yes, thank you. You can vote early. Well, except for half a day. Seriously?

And Charlie had to die on LOST and the numbers made sense and the show creators had a plan for the show the entire time. Yup. That all seems much more plausible to me today.

Now you made me think of LOST and I am sadfaced, also, The Constand, best tv episode ever for any show.

So, this is a real thing? I mean were they right?

  2. Kimberly Chapman says:

That sucks that you got turned away but at least you can still do it tomorrow.  Go early so there's no excuse they can pile on you.

PS 12:34 happens to be Peo and my favourite time of day.  Although lately Peo also likes 11:11, 12:36, and 12:21.

  3. Scott Cramer says:

    Yup. (to +Dirk Reul)

  4. Scott Cramer says:

+Kimberly Chapman Oh, I'll be there. I have a much better chance of winning a G+ contest I get into than my vote counting in Fort Wayne. But, hey, I never give up. 😉

  5. Dirk Reul says:

+Scott Cramer I don't even.. just send the smoke monster after them 🙁

  6. Scott Cramer says:

Ooo… Smoke Monster in politics here would be AWESOME! Any political lie told and BOOM, SMOKE MONSTER! LOVE LOVE LOVE it.

  7. Nick Shvelidze says:

    Omg Charlie 🙁

+Scott Cramer Your voice may count more than you know on some of the smaller local issues.  For instance, here in Texas they redid the map for the state school board and that puts a San Antonio anti-evolution conservative up against a liberal scientist.  Our votes here definitely count hugely in that, and could turn the tide back against those who have long used Texas education might to bugger up textbooks for the whole nation.

    Small steps.

  9. Spencer Eden says:

Buggering up textbooks with … science?  Heaven forbid!

  15. Keith Cramer says:

I was right! It was posted that we had until 4:30 today for early voting!  http://goo.gl/TZGIF

Of course, it was Google that posted it, and Google was WRONG!!

Oh Google, why must you oppress me??

Voting starts at 6 am for me tomorrow.

  16. Thomas Price says:

    Vote… vote often….

  17. Keith Cramer says:

    yes, vote often, good idea!

  18. Roger Murley says:

Our early voting ended on November 1. If you wait until the last day of early voting, does that still make you a procrastinator? 🙂

  19. Scott Cramer says:

    +Roger Murley Hmm… I think, yes. 😉 It's all in the spirit.
